Disneyland's Magic Kingdom Will Get A Disney+ TV Universe – Report

Disney is hoping to bring its theme parks to life in a brand new way with a project reportedly in the works at Disney+. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the man behind 2004’s Battlestar Galactica reboot and For All Mankind, Ron Moore, is developing a Magic Kingdom franchise for the streaming service.

The first project in the works as part of the so-called Magic Kingdom Universe is The Society of Explorers and Adventurers, a fictional organization developed as part of the mythology of Disney’s parks around the world. SEA was first created for Japan’s Tokyo DisneySea to give a richer backstory to certain attractions. Microsoft Says "We Haven't Pulled Any Games From PlayStation" Amid Redfall PS5 Discussion

Developer Arkane has commented on what changed with its vampire game Redfall after Microsoft bought studio owner ZeniMax. Speaking to IGN France (via IGN), director Harvey Smith said there was a “huge sea change” for Redfall after Microsoft bought the company, and this included a decision to not bring the game to PlayStation 5.

“They said, ‘No PlayStation 5. Now we’re gonna do Game Pass, Xbox, and PC,'” Smith said.

A spokesperson for Microsoft told GameSpot that the company has not “pulled any games from PlayStation.”

Lars Wingefors said at the Mipcom Cannes event this week that gaming will be Embracer’s “strongest area of growth and monetization” for The Lord of the Rings.

Embracer is among the largest video game companies on Earth by developer headcount, and this opens up possibilities that publishers at a smaller scale might not be able to accommodate, Wingefors said.

MSI Gaming Teases Its Own Steam Deck Competitor

MSI Gaming has showed details of a Steam Deck-style handheld, via a brief teaser video on its Instagram account.

The first part of the video shows the front of the device in a dark space, with only the offset sticks encircled by RGB light visible. It continues by showing details of the device’s back, a red and black color scheme emblazoned with the MSI logo. The video’s final frame shows a logo featuring multicolored claws and the text “#MSIxCES2024.” The caption reads “A whole new breed of MSI dragon is coming.
